Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant injured his left ankle in the first half of the match against Brooklyn Nets last night.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the x-ray of Morant’s wrist did not show any fractures and an MRI will be taken during the day.
Morant , who was trying to attempt Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot’s initiative, was seen to be sprained when he fell on the Nets striker’s foot:

It was seen that Morant quickly left the field on one leg. After a short while, he was taken to the locker room in a wheelchair.
The 21-year-old then rejoined his teammates on the bench, wearing walking boots:
Ja Morant, who was on the field for 13 minutes, scored 7 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds. Memphis, on the other hand, finished the game with a victory in the 116-111 extra period.
